About Hill City:
The Hill City Athletic Club is a Dunedin based running and walking club that provides an environment for both competitive and non-competitive runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
We are proud to include among our members Olympian and Commonwealth Games representative Chris Donaldson and Dallas Roberts, a quarter-finalist in the 100m and a semi-finalist in the 200m at the Manchester Commonwealth Games.
Our New Zealand distance running representatives include Shireen Crumpton, who was placed 33rd in the women's marathon at the 2005 world athletic championships in Helsinki. Shireen was also placed 8th at the World Mountain Running Champs in 2004 where she competed with Anna Frost who was placed 44th.
For runners not as fast as these, there are plenty of opportunities to compete on Logan park, one of New Zealand's top synthetic tracks, through the summer, or to participate in a variety of interesting road and cross country races during the winter harrier season. For those uninterested in racing, Hill City provides a great place for people to get together for a group jog or walk.
